Laima and Nidas celebrated their wedding with an intimate gathering at The Drake Oak Brook, surrounded by around 30 of their closest friends and loved ones. Their celebration was intimate, elegant and relaxed, beginning with a few quiet getting-ready moments before their outdoor ceremony.
Outdoor Ceremony at The Drake Oak Brook
Their ceremony took place outdoors at The Drake Oak Brook, with the gazebo creating a beautiful setting surrounded by the property’s greenery. Simple, elegant details completed the space and created an intimate setting for their closest family and friends.
With only their closest people gathered around them, Laima and Nidas exchanged vows beneath the gazebo in a ceremony that felt personal and intimate. It was a beautiful reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to be large to feel incredibly special.

After the ceremony, we explored the property for portraits, taking advantage of The Drake Oak Brook’s beautiful architecture, classic columns, gardens and greenery. We had time for a mix of timeless portraits, candid moments and more editorial images that highlighted both the couple and the surroundings.
An Intimate Wedding Reception
Their celebration continued with their closest family and friends for an intimate reception filled with all the traditions that made the evening feel complete. From their first dance and live saxophone music to cutting the cake and celebrating with a beautiful champagne tower, there was so much packed into this shorter wedding day.
In just about four hours, we were able to capture the entire story of Laima and Nidas’ wedding day—from getting ready and their outdoor ceremony to portraits around The Drake Oak Brook and celebrating with the people closest to them. A smaller wedding didn’t mean fewer meaningful moments—it simply made the entire day feel more personal.
