17 Year Old Pilot

I had the incredible honor of photographing Damon, a 17-year-old senior from Hanover Central High School, Class of 2025. Damon’s story is anything but ordinary—he is already a licensed pilot! He began his flying lessons at Griffith-Merrillville Airport here in Indiana, and his passion for aviation is truly inspiring.

For his senior photoshoot, we wanted to capture not just this milestone of graduating high school, but also his love for flying. The session took place with a small plane as the backdrop, making the photos both personal and symbolic of the heights he’s already reaching.

Damon is proof that with hard work and dedication, you can truly chase your dreams—no matter how high they may be. Congratulations to him and the entire Class of 2025!
