Ieva, High school senior, wanted to have her photoshoot in Chicago. The city is so big, how can you possible chose a place for pictures? Chicago has so much to offer: from parks, streets, buildings to beaches. We decided to stick to Chicago Riverwalk area. There are so many beautiful spots around it and all within the walking distance.
Wrigley building. Its a skyscraper located on the Magnificent Mile directly across Michigan Avenue. Just walk around it and you will get a different backdrop all the time.
Don’t forget to take a picture by the popular golden door.
On your left you will see a beautiful view of Chicago River.
Walk a few steps to the right, and you will see amazing architecture of Wrigley building. Definitely one of the famous spots for pictures.
While you are there, hop on one of those Walgreens window sills (Yes, Walgreens is hidden in that building) 🙂
Magnificent mile. Its one of the world’s most iconic shopping districts. Michigan avenue is a busy street, also my favorite street to take pictures, because it has “islands” for my models to stand without being hit by a car. Depending on the season, they have different plants growing in the middle of the street.
Riverwalk. Right across from London House, in front of Trump Tower, there is a beautiful spot for pictures. Sidewalk, with cool looking lights. Busy place, but if you take pictures during the week, you can avoid people.
Pedestrian crossing. Don’t forget to cross the street ONLY DURING THE GREEN LIGHT (Safety first) for fun pictures. Walk, run, spin around, but be safe.
Chicago is beautiful, I feel like any place will have a good background there. Just find a fun photographer (like me:)), enjoy the experience and have a good time!
Love love love them!!
