Winter Wedding in a Foggy Chicago

February 3, 2025 – I left my house, it was 57F in Indiana, sunny ( pretty much felt like summer after a bunch of freezing days), so it was an absolute NO to the winter coat. BIG MISTAKE. All of the sudden, close to Chicago it got dark, so dark, that I had to google if anything bad happened in the city. No visibility, temperature dropped to 40s, it felt like 30s.

But that didn’t stop us from celebrating and taking beautiful pictures in the fog. Monday, empty streets, no people, perfect day for Elopement – it was just perfect! We had to go in Ghirardelli cafe, located by the Wrigley building, and get some hot cocoa and coffee a couple of times to warm up. Vilius and Jillian nailed this photoshoot, you can’t even tell it was a cold and windy winter day.
