Bella and Michael’s engagement session at Hamstra Gardens in Indiana was the perfect mix of romantic and effortless.

Fall at Hamstra Gardens is one of my favorite times for engagement photos in Northwest Indiana — the colors, the water, and the variety of locations all in one place make it such a dream to photograph.

We explored the gardens, stopped by the waterfall, and ended the session on the lake with the boat — easily one of the most unique spots for engagement photos in Indiana. The reflections, the golden tones, and the quiet moments between them made everything feel natural and real.
